Organization

The District currently employs approximately 75 individuals who work throughout the district to operate and maintain its system of 20 Pump Stations, 36 miles of Hurricane Levee and 281 miles of outfall canals.

The Administrative Staff is responsible for day-to-day operations of the District under policies set by the Board of Commissioners. Elections are held in May of even-numbered years.  Commissioners are elected to four-year staggered terms.
